Is there a software that can boot cloned hard drives?

I need to boot my hard drive but am having a hard time doing so.

If you've cloned a hard drive that contains all the software necessary to boot an operating system, you would typically be able to just hook up the new hard drive in place of the old one (assuming the hardware is compatible) and boot up (though you might have to tweak BIOS settings).

If the hard drive is not set to master it wont boot. u can set it to master via the jumper pins in the back of the hard drive. It could also be the master boot record was not correctly cloned.reimaging of the hard drive is neccesary for this.

I have used Symantec Ghost(tm) successfully to create a cloned drive. I have also used Acronis True Image(tm). Both utilities are quite good in creating bootable clone drives. Other options you could try, if you are short on cash, are open source alternatives that can image a drive just as well (DriveImage or PING)
