How do I remove unwanted files when my computer is running slow?

Is there a program which will remove unwanted files from my hard drive if my computer is lagging?

In order to get rid of the files that you don't need run a disk defragment, or manually remove the components yourself through the control panel

To remove unwanted files from computer clean the temporary files. To clean the files flow the procedureGo to start, click 'RUN' in the Start menu and type 'TEMP' in the command box and press 'OK' button. The temporary files will open and clean the files. This will clean the unwanted files.

It is far cheaper and sometimes safer to do it yourself. Look online for guide on what can and can be deleted. Also try disk clean up and disk defrag.

You can use the Disc Cleanup utility. It scans you system for temp files and other items you no longer need. You can also use the Remove program feature.
