How can I remove remove marble backsplash without damage to wall?

I need some tips on how to avoid damage.

The only thing that should be damaged in that removal (and cant be avoided to my knowledge) will the the paint (if there is any underneath) and the top layer of drywall. a small coat of spackle and wall primer should fix that right up.

It depends on whether, or how, the marble is attached to the wall. Try sharpening a putty knife and slipping it behind the marble.
