How can I obtain a copy of my Colorado birth certificate?

I lost mine in a fire.

You can go online to Colorado vital statistics and request one. usually a fee of $15.00. You can also go to the health department in county you were born in.

Write to: Colorado Department of Public Health, Vital Records Section, 4300 Cherry Creek Drive South HSVRD-VR-A1, Denver, CO 80246-1530 OR wrote to the Vital Records Department in the county of your birth. Include a check/money order for $17.75(no cash, no credit cards).

You will have to write or call the Colorado department of vital statistics and ask what to do. Some areas all you need to do is to go to your local courthouse. The information you are seeking can be found online.

You can go on line to the colorado health and families services web site. You can look up and request a copy from there you will have to pay for it.
