There are almost certainly other students in your class in the same situation. Forming a study group can make studying more enjoyable and more effective. It will also keep you motivated to keep studying.

As you are studying, try to think about real life applications of the material you are learning. It is often far more interesting to study something when it feels like there is a purpose to it besides just getting a good grade on a test.

Consider the ability to save money doing your own taxes and helping others do their own. Do a budget and financial plan to pay off your own debts, with a rate of return on the investment equal to your credit card rate.

There are a couple of different ways to make accounting more interesting. One would be to find out about the history of accounting and how each procedure developed. Another would be for every problem, imagine a real-world scenario where you would be using that problem. Imagining forensic accounting might be very interesting.
