One of the ways I have found to earn money during hard financial times is to invest in taking a course in investing in the stock market. If you study hard enough and learn how to invest it can pay off quicker than any other ways.

It's going to be tough so be prepared. If your company offers any overtime or for you to work an extra day take it. If your job doesn't give you enough hours start looking for a better one but don't quit until you find a job.

Find something you like doing and turning it into a hobby. Many people have created their own businesses by finding something they like doing and selling it such as baking, or something like sewing.

The best thing to do is to save money, and if you're making any money, be grateful for what is coming in. Also, do a job that does not go away.
