Measure the length you will need. Then pin the edges together and sew together with the sewing machine. You will need to know how to serge to seam ends.

Get a scarf, ribbon or decorative piece of cord. It should be double the length of one's waist. Wrap around waist and tie in a knot or bow.

Find some fabric that you have either on hand or at a fabric store. Fold it in half and sew it together.

Well basically you have to get the desired material and cut across measuring a diagonal length and then seam the two ends together in the end . Thus, you will serge accordingly

Pick out desired fabric and cut into a 16 to 18 inch rectangle. Fold each side of the rectangle and sew it with matching thread. Tie the sash into bow.

If you are trying to make a sash for like a girl scout just get yourself some material they sell it at wal-mart. lay the material out and cut the entire sash out at the same time it will be one piece then take and sew the two ends together.
