Your best bet is downloading Skype, creating a new skype account, and using that. They give every new account one free phone call to anywhere in the world. As long as you have a computer with a microphone, that's the easiest way to make a free international call. I use skype to call friends in Japan, for instance.

You can use Skype to call Pakistan but for that you will need a good headset your self and the person your calling and also a good internet connection for uninterrupted call.
