How can I learn to ollie on a moving skateboard?

Answer by  Anonymous

Once you can do it stationary in grass or on a carpet... All you have to do is muster the courage to do the exact same thing while rolling! Welcome to Skateboarding.

Well, just keep practicing. Practice is the key to mastering this skill. If you don't practice, you won't be able to master it.

To ollie, balance your weight on your back foot, then push down hard. While the front of the board comes up, move your front foot forward to balance out the skateboard in mid-air. Then you will have done an ollie.

You could go on Youtube and watch some skateboard tutorials. There are many good tutorials out there, just do a little searching and you will find them. Good luck with your skateboarding.

first, you have to learn to balance on it and be comfortable jumping on it when it is moving. Second, you have to keep calm when your in the air because most people tend to freak out. Just pretend you are doing an ollie when the board is not moving.

One way would be to review a professional skateboarder and take note on what they do then try to replicate.
