How can I learn the Cyrillic alphabet (Bulgarian)?

Is there an easy and fast way?

There is no fast, easy way to learn the specifics of any languages, especially as a second language. It takes time, effort and commitment.

The cyrillic alphabet is very close to the Roman alphabet and thus relatively easy to learn. Have a look at the transcription tables at the "Library of Congress" homepage. It contains .pdf-files for transcription standards of both the Cyrillc alphabet as such as well as Bulgarian varieties.

There are numerous websites available that can teach you the basics of the Cyrillic alphabet. You can also try the reference section of your local library for dictionaries and learning aids.

Yes, I would recommend going online and doing some research to find a Bulgarian translator. You could also possibly just go to your local library to find it.

When I was trying to learn the Cyrillic alphabet to study Mongolian, the thing that helped me the most was making fake "translations" of English words where I converted each letter into Cyrillic. Dog becomes ДОГ, etc. It's a great way to practice.
