The best way you can help the child is by setting a positive example. Try to be cheerful around the child as much as possible. If she is being negative about a certain thing then talk to her about the good aspects of it, and try to get her to see the positive side.

Try to find out what's bothering this child, and assess whether she's depressed or acting out. If you're worried about her state of mind, contact your doctor for a discussion.

First, try to figure out why this child is so negative. Have a talk with him or her. To help, be sure to tell this child what a great person they are. Praise them when they do something well. Talk and acknowledge their accomplishments. Most importantly, provide a positive environment.

Ask the child why they are so negative, then try to show them the good aspects in life. Telling them that every thing can be turned from negative to positive. Trying to spend time with the child and showing them that they are cared about will help with the negativity.
