How can I get stared in a career as a game tester?

Look on the careers page of all the big-named game companies and you will often see positions for game testers. It is hardly a career. You get paid an hourly minimum wage, you have to do very repetitive tasks and there is no room for advancement. You also have to live near the company headquarters.

Look up on the internet which companies are big in game developing and find the Job application area's on their websites and apply.

The best thing to is to try to get a job with Sony or Microsoft and then you can move your way up to be able to the game tester job. I am sure it is a hard job to get because who would not want to sit at home and play games but it has been done.
