Since these vegetarian animals are often repelled by animal products, you might try putting down bloodmeal fertilizer in the general area which is being affected.

One of the best ways is to buy some mole peanuts, just put them in their hole let them eat it and they will die. If you want to go the more human way you might try setting a trap but this takes a lot more patience. You can buy these product at Wal-Mart I believe.

My suggestion would be to get a mole trap. The variety that I'm thinking of is the type that you place over the burrow and the trap trip mechanism drives spikes into the mole as it travels along it's underground hole. A possible ethical drawback is that it kills the mole.
