You can purchase American Idols Live tickets from the venue that is holding the show. However, you may have difficuly finding really good tickets. If you are looking for something close to the stage, you may want to contact a "ticket re-sale" vendor. They usually buy all of the goo dones in bulk and re-sell them for more money.

American Idol posts a schedule of the tour on their website. This includes the dates, times, and venues. You can check with the venue regarding ticket outlets.

You could get tickets by contacting fox broadcasting. I assume they are the ones that distribute the tickets to the program since they air it. If that does not work you should figure out who the producer is and contact that company. My final recomendation would be to find out where it takes place and ask that venue.
