Carrie Underwood is currently the third best selling American Idol. The top selling American Idol contestant is Kelly Clarkson with 8 top ten singles on the US chart. The next most popular is Daughtry, followed by Miss Underwood, Jordin Sparks and lastly Adam Lambert. It is quite possible that Adam could surpass the others if is popularity continues.

Carrie Underwood and Kelly Clarkson are probably two of the best sellings American Idol winners. However, Chris Daugherty may not have won but he and his band Daugherty have done well. Jennifer Hudson did not win either but won an Osacr as Best Supporting Actress with "Dreamgirls".
