Facebook, and myspace are a great way to find people, and reconnect. If that doesn't work you can always google him and see what comes up. Also there are sights that if you pay offer you information about people such as where they live, and phone numbers.

You can try with Pipl, its an online people finder. It will search all the social networks for that person. But if you want his number try searching with YellowPages.
