How can I cut down a driver shaft?

This is possible by heating the handle and sliding off then cutting the shaft however not reccomendend because this tends to decenter the remainder of the club.

Believe it or not, a simple saw will do the trick. Make sure you cut it near the top though, and regrip the club where you cut it.

You have to remove the handle, then cut the shaft at the handle end and then you can replace the handle.

The best way is to use a tubing cutter. You can also use masking tape for a graphite shaft. If clubs are shortened and no weight is added, the length reduction won't have a positive result.
