How can I clear the search history?

It depends on the internet browser. If you are using Firefox: Tools->Clear Recent History. If you are using Internet Explore: Tools_>Delete Browsing History. These allow you to select which categories of history you wish to delete. Normally, it's OK to get rid of everything you see except your saved passwords.

In IE 8 and higher click on ternet Options. Under the section "Browsing History" click delete. This will delete all browsing history cookies and also "form data" which is the data you type into search forms like Google.

If using internet explorer go to tools, then to delete browsing history. If your using Chrome you will want to click on tools, then options, click on under the hood tab, then click on delete browsing history button. This will delete all the search and browsing history for your computer.

Click the Tools menu. Click Internet options, under browsing History section, click Delete... In the Delete Browsing History, choose History and click OK. For internet Explorer 7 or 8

If you are using Firefox, go into tools, then click options. Next click on privacy and then you can remove your cookies and history.
