There are far fewer opportunities in the U.S. than in Europe/UK/South America, where soccer is serious, serious business. You'd have to be an extraordinary player to get noticed.

If you want to become a professional soccer player in Europe you need to be noticed by scouts from a team or you need to set up a try-out for a team. Either way, you will not be signed immediately, but if you are good enough they will keep you around for additional tests and tryouts.

Play for a top notch league and make yourself visible. You may want to contact an agent to represent you. This will increase your chances.

Many Europeans Soccer teams have days of Trials, where some players can go and try to impress the team officals, also they have scouts who go to games and keep tabs on the better players. You may also want to go live in Europe to get noticed by teams.

Well, the most important thing is that you need to have talent for soccer. You must be a hard worker as well. You need to be passionate and love soccer. Also you should have a good manager. He needs to be active and to talk to many various European clubs.

Pro footballers get discovered by a scout from one of the European clubs and the player usually signs a developmental contract, and hopefully if the manager sees you from your hard work and determination that you are ready for the top flight he might sign you to a professional contract.

Well if your a really good soccer player and has been playing since you were young and through out high school, i would think your coach would give you a sholarship for college.I think someone out there would notice you, if you ever play in public. Just believe in yourself

If you;re technically good and not in shape, coaches will not put you in the roster. Winning in soccer is a function of the team rhythm in moving the ball and being alert. Conditionning is 50% of the player.
