In Star Wars, Padme and Anakin are related only by marriage. They secretly fall in love and get married at the end of Star Wars: Attack of the Clones.

Padme and Anakin aren't related, they are husband and wife (at the end of the second movie). They have Luke and Leia, who despite the quick kiss they share are brother and sister.

They are not related, you are thinking of Luke and Leia who are brother and sister, while padme is the queen of the universe she is from and anakin is the father of luke, as they both have the last name skywalker. Anakin then turns into darth vader, they do however have a love affair.
