Disputes over land are governed by the law as it pertains to real property. It doesn't matter if you are family of the property owner, the law still applies. If the dispute cannot be worked about between the disagreeing parties, the court will intervene and, based on the law, resolve the matter for them.

Land disputes generally require a real estate attorney to help sort out the paperwork and records. If a property was passed down by a grandparent then affidavits from relatives may be necessary to establish a persons rights to the property.

legally all the children are distributed everything with equal worth if there is no will. It can either be done mutually or in court. But grandchildren dont get anything out of it. if children are no more then grandchildren get equal value of property. If not settled mutually then you can go to court.
