Kangaroo rats are much like any rodent pet. They are nocturnal and very active during the night. If handled a lot from birth they'll socilize and become a good pet.
Kangaroo rats are like regular rats except a little more exotic. They are gentle and are great with kids. Feed them regularly with fruits and vegetables and they will stay energetic which is a sign of healthiness.
