The blades used for ice skating dance maneuvers are angled in the front and back allowing for better control on the ice. The blades are designed slimmer and with a shorter tail section to enable the skater to perform dance movements, skating quicker with more ease and less effort.

Ice dancing blades are a type of figure skate blade. They are generally longer and heavier than a hockey skate blade. Most will have a Toe Pick which enables the skater to jump by pushing off of the front of the blade.

Ice dancing blades normally have a different type of shape that are on them. They will provide then dancer to be able to glide easier and have very little restrictions.
