Has Similac Advance been recalled?

At one point, the Similac Advance was recalled, but it was only the Similac that was held in plastic containers. All of the Similac that was in the metal containers were fine. These were recalled for possible insect parts that may have been present in some of the plastic containers that were sold.

Certain batches of powdered Similac, including some Similac Advance, has been recalled. Parts of beetles have been found in some cans of formula. No harmful health affects have been reported. This only affects powdered formula. Liquid concentrate or ready made are still on the shelves.

I believe it contained old milk, which causes it to mold and it can be dangerous for infrants to consume.

probably once . That kind of product gets recalled all the time .Probably nothing major quatily control issues .some thing probably wasnt put in it to make it advanced .so they could of recalled it . I rightly dont know that either .I didnt use that brand for my kids .
