As of right now Wal-Mart is trying to make their environment a safe place to both work and shop. So they feel like keep Felons out is the best way to achieve this. As of now they do not hire felons but I've heard from a few people that they don't look at Felonies past 7 years. Sorry.
It depends on the charge/crime, and also how long ago it was. Really it is up to Wal-Mart, and all of them hire on a case-by-case basis. It really depends on the severity of your felony.
Probably not. When you are filling out your application, it will have a section where you will have to list your convictions, etc. Then, it will be up to the person hiring to review this information and make a decision.
I know of a person who was hired with a felony of 2 murders, but did these crimes when he was 16 years old and his case has been sealed. Wal Mart does not know of these crimes. I feel unsafe working with him. Help!!!
