Does the Dirt Devil Broom Vac work well?

The Dirt Devil Broom Vac worked okay for me, although it doesn't work too well on big pieces of items, or anything that may be too heavy. It picked things up nicely, but it wasn't necessarily the best thing that could have been used. A regular vacuum would have been better, more than likely.

It depends what you are looking for. Some people said it was a little weighty. Not to much but heavier then they expected. Some of the other reviews said it cannot pick up large particles like cheerios. Works well with regular dirt and grime. Overall it had great ratings of four stars or higher.

Broom vac is easy to clean, works well on carpets and hard floors. It's affordable and light so storage is easy. You'll get better cleaning than with heavy vacumming.

Broom Vacs in general do not work as well as standard vacuum cleaners because they have a smaller cleaning area and their small size minimizes suction power. However, if you desire a small and compact package for storage, it may be a good choice.

The Dirt Devil Broom Vac is a good broom for a quick pick up and not much else, for stronger vacuum you need to use a real one.

It really sucks! The Broom Vac works well on flat surfaces, such as linoleum, tile, or hardwood, but cannot do anything for the long shag carpet in my grandma's living room.

They work well at first. Over time, they lose suction and generally require more charging time than when new. They can be hard to clean, too.
