Yes, pioneer makes one of the best most reliable DVD players. In my experience when purchasing audio video equipment Pioneer makes some of the best, high-end, most reliable equipment in audio visual electronics (second only to Samsung, who also make excellent electronics). Be prepared however to pay a hefty sum.

I personally do think that Pioneer makes a good DVD player.They last for a long time and the warranty's for them are great. They rarely ever break. My kids dropped ourplayer many of times and it never broke.
