Only a vet can tell for sure, with the use of ultrasound, x-ray, or other type of scan as many of the symptoms are similar. This is likened to appendicitis in humans and can be life threatening so I would recommend you take your animal to the vet as soon as possible.

FIP is caused by a virus. It generally affects cats with weakened immune systems (kittens, geriatrics, or sick cats). Weigh tloss, anemia, fever, depression, and fluid in the abdomen are symptoms of FIP. They are also symptoms of other conditions. It is best to see a veterinarian.

If your cat is in extreme pain and won't let you touch her belly, then there might be something going on in her intestines.

In order for this to properly be answered, I would like to ask what symptoms your cat is having. Also, speak with a vet if the cat is showing any symptoms.

It is impossible to answer this because you described no symptoms that the cat is having. A visit to the vet is probably in order.

Your cat may have it. I would have to have more information about the cat. What symptoms does you cat have? Is your cat a kitten? How old is your cat?
