Does it matter that my husband's name is on the title but not on the deed?

This is really thorny. If there is a financial default it may not matter if his name is on the deed, you may still lose the property.

I think you have to have his name on both, but not real sure. You should consult a lawyer about it. The lawyer would be able to tell you more.
