This can cause a flat, but it depends how hard you hit it, what type of car you are in, and what type of tires you have.

It can, if the tire is worn and gets pinched. If you hit hard enough it may rupture the seal with the wheel base.

It does not cause flat, but causes the alignment to be out of place, steering wheel may start rumbling when going above 50 MPH.

Hitting the curb can easily cause a flat tire by bending the tires rim and allowing air to eacape in that area.
