Does Britain have a Constitution?

I wonder if it's where the U.S. got the idea for one.

Great Britain has a constitution but very different from that of several other nations including the United States of America. The constitution of Great Britain is unwritten, which separates it from most other nations having one. The constitution is embodied in a series of various written documents including treaties, statutes and court decisions.

Britain's Constitution is not a single document, as is that of the United States, but is composed of a variety of documents, statutes, official court judgments, and constitutional conventions of Parliament and prerogatives granted to the Royal family.

Britain has a Constitution, but it is very different from the American one. For Britain, the Constitution is not a single document, but instead is composed of all British laws.
