Asthma itself does not cause low blood pressure, asthma causes shortness of breath, which can lead to low blood pressure.

Yes, asthma causes low blood pressure. Blood pressure may fall to lower, because the airways are so narrowed, so the passing of air may be obstructed. If asthma is triggered by excersice then there is already that increased heart rate and and that will lead to the lowering of blood pressure.
