Does a Lil Nursery tent keep sunlight off the baby?

While a nursery tent will block the sun and give your baby some shade. They can still burn. Always put sunscreen on your little one when they are going to be outside for extended periods of time. Remember we can even burn on cloudy days. Protecting your little ones delicate skin is very important.

The Lil Nursery tent I found online seems to have an SPF value of 30. If the one you purchase also has decent SPF protection, then you shouldn't need to put sunscreen on your baby as well. Also, babies under 6 months should not wear sunscreen, and you should ask your pediatrician before using sunscreen.

It's always a smart idea to keep sunscreen on your baby even if he's not in the sun all the time. Lil Nursery tents are SPF guarded so your baby is safe in the sun. They are very good to take to the beach.

The Lil Nursery tent does provide some shade for your baby. You still will need to put some sunscreen on him though because it does not provide 100% coverage.
