A complaint of summary ejectment is in most states what a landlord must file in order to remove a tenant who will not leave. The tenant is notified by the court and then the Sheriff will remove the parties from the property.

A complaint for Summary Ejectment means that your landlord has brought a complaint before the court to evict you. This also means you have your chance to be heard before the court as to why you should not be evicted. Be aware- you have no right to withhold rent without permission of the court, so don't even go there.
