For the most part, the food is free. If you eat in the dining room or buffets, it is free. Cruise ships now have specialty restaurants, like Steakhouses or Italian, where you have to pay a fee. The fee is usually between $10 and $30 dollars. You always have to pay for alcohol as it is not included anywhere.

It would depend on what you paid for when you paid for your cruise. The more you pay, the more that you are entitled to.

All meals, snacks, and desserts are generally included in the cost of the cruise on major cruise lines. Some offer specialty restaurants at an extra charge, but dining there is optional. However, alcoholic beverages are not included, as are most other beverages, including soft drinks. Usually tea and coffee are complimentary.

Many cruise lines do offer items such as food and/or meals for an all-inclusive cruise price. Check with your travel agent for a detailed list, including the types of food available and service times on the cruise you are considering.
