Do we really need the news at noon?

It's really just a matter of both opinion, and convenience. I know a few people personally who prefer to watch the news at noon instead of at night, because more often than not, they work the night shift and aren't able to watch it in the evening. True, it does feel like overkill at times, but what can you do?

I think having the news in the morning, at noon, and at night is great. That way everyone can be up to date on everything happening throughout the day.

Do we really need the news at noon, of course not, we can get the up to date and minute news all day long on the stations that do news 24 hours a day 7 days a week, so the news at noon is just another way for networks to fill up a time slot.
