I don't believe they feel pain when they are cut. Yes, plants are alive but I don't think they have nerves like humans do to be able to feel things.

Absolutely not. First of all, vegetables do not have brains or a nervous system. The reason humans and animals feel pain is because of our complex nervous system and nerve endings which signal to our brain that something is wrong. Vegetables, fruits and grains therefore are incapable of feeling any kind of pain whatsoever.

I don't believe that vegetables feel pain when they are cut. I suppose if vegetables were ever to feel pain, it might be when they are picked. We'll never know for sure.
