Boeing still makes 747's, but the model is seen as expensive and inefficient. While new 747's are made with lighter material, airlines now favor the "Dreamliner" which costs less.
They do not make Boeing 747 jets anymore. But people are thinking of starting to rebuild them in the United States. These jets did alot for the people and they could be remade.
