Dell laptops are not assembled in India, they are assembled mostly in the united states with parts they acquire from both the US as well as from other countries.

While a lot of tech companies have call/support centers in India, most components come from a number of other Asian countries such as Taiwan, China, South Korea. There are a lot of different parts to a laptop and they can be made in many different regions of the world.
