Do they make aspirin for dogs?

My dog is in pain.

Yes, but you would need to obtain it from your vet. Some vets recommend giving dogs baby aspirin but you'd need to call him or her for dosage information. You may also be able to use give joint supplements, things like fish oil, Glucosamine and Chondroitin, depending on the issue.

If your dog is in pain, you can't treat him. He needs to see a vet. Any medicine you try to give can be fatal, meds are based on weight and the condition requiring it. Human meds are VERY DANGEROUS to dogs. An animal in pain needs treatment ASAP.

There are many types of pain relieve medication available for dogs. Brands such as Rimadyl and Metacam are the most common. Talk to your veterinarian to see which one is right for your dog and see if he needs any other treatment.
