School officials have the right to search lockers as part of an effort to keep schools safe, drug-free, etc. School officials have found everything from bombs to marijuana plants in lockers, all the sort of things that in one way or another threaten the safety and security of students.

Yes. Your locker is the property of the school, and in a way, so are you. Your best option is make sure that you are obeying the law.

no they do not because that is the students own little place were they can keep their belongings and its a place were they can have some privacy away from home.
