Do pineapples from Hawaii taste better than other pineapples?

Pineapples from Hawaii are great but they are no better or sweeter than pineapples grown in other places. Brazil produces lots of pineapples and so does Costa Rica and they are just as good.

Most people agree that pineapples from Hawaii taste the best. Their climate is perfect for this fruit. Pineapples have been grown for many years in hothouses. Its pretty much agreed that these pineapples are inferior. Greenhouse pineapples are stunted in growth and in taste. Like anything else, it depends on what you like.
