Nylon panties would have a smoother texture, which would mean that clothing would hang nicely over them. They might also be warmer in winter. However, they do not launder at high temperatures, and can be unhygienic as nylon fabrics do not let the skin breathe as well as cotton fabrics.

No not at all, there really good underwear, and super easy to take care of. If you worry about washing in washer, hand wash. I love them, cause you can wear anything, and no one can see the lines of your underwear. For woman who hate thongs, this is the way to go.
