Everyone takes pain differently, so it depends on your tolerence to pain. That piercing usually does hurt, but if you really want it then you'll deal with the pain.
I have a number of friends who have got cheek (dimple piercings) all pierced with a 1.6mm (14g) needle they all said the initial piercing didn't hurt but the length of the bars that are first inserted for swelling got caught on necklaces, scarves and hats.
As with most unconventional piercings, a numbing spray is used so the pain of the actual piercing is relatively painless. The healing process may be a little more painful or become sore. If this is your first piercing, you may not know how you may react to a piercing like this one.
They will sting only for a while while you are getting it done. You will get used to it. You should ask if they can numb you before getting it pierced.
it al depends on how muhc u can take pain.. if u have a high pain tolerance then u should be good. when i got my lip done it didnt hurt, in fact i didnt feel anything, then again it was numbed. but good luck.
With any type of piercing there is going to be pain. Some may hurt more than others do to the nerves that are in the location that you want pierced. Make sure if you do decide to get your dimples pierced that the piercer is very knowledgeable and answer all the questions you may have before getting pierced. Good luck!
Dimple piercings are a fairly painful place to be pierced. This is due mainly to the number and sensitivity of nerve endings in that area. There are many places that have more feeling than the dimple area, but just feel the different between your ear and your dimple area. Which area can you feel more in?
