Does a monroe piercing hurt?

It probably hurts as much as any piercing and varies based on the person. I found even ear piercing to hurt a lot and I imagine there are enough nerves in the lips that it could be uncomfortable to get a piercing there. It's a good idea to really think that piercing through since it's on the face.

As with any piercing it will hurt. After all you are having a needle pushed through your skin. The pain experienced can very depending on each persons pain tolerance levels.

Monroes hurt more than labrets, but not by much. Shoving a needle through one's lip should hurt a lot, but it is so quick, when done correctly, that the sting and pinch only last for a second. Honestly, the worst part is washing with the listerine that burns so intensly.

All piercings hurt when they are made. The difference is if they hurt afterward. It shouldn't hurt after it's healed.

As with any piercing there is a degree of discomfort, and a lot depends on your pain threshold. Make sure that you use an experienced piercer to lessen discomfort.

It, does hurt a little, but it's over quickly. On a scale of 1 to 5, a monroe piercing scores two which is slightly higher than getting your ears pierced.

any piercing will hurt. i found my bottom lip did though. i just gt my monroe and i cried.
