Capricorn is an earth sign, and Scorpio is a water sign. They share a serious nature, and would probably make good friends. Both signs are motivated by philosophical underpinnings, so they would have that discussion in common. After a period of getting to know each other, there common traits would make a good bond.

This can be a great friendship, the capricorn can live vicariously through the scorpio; and the scorpio can benefit from the stability of the capricorn. Not a great romantic relationship.
