Firstly, make sure anything you wish to buy is spelt Wedgwood, without the middle "e" or it is not genuine Wedgwood. Black Wedgwood is mainly plates and bowls but other items were also made. There is plenty available on the British Ebay site, just type in black wedgwood and check to see if the seller can do international shipping.

Wedgwood first made "black basalt" stoneware, named for its resemblance to the black volcanic rock, in the mid 1700's. It was used mostly for vases and urns. Check antique dealers for vintage pieces, and Wedgwood USA or websites that specialize in discontinued tableware items for modern pieces.
