you can As long as the Blackberry Supports an AT&T sim Card. One way to find out if it does, is by Checking to see if there is a AT&T Logo or you can Call into AT&T to find out by Calling there support center.

Yes, the sim card and the phone are two independent entities. But be careful if you have a contract with AT&T that restricts you to a particular phone model. Also, if you walk into an AT&T store, they may be able to transfer your data into the Blackberry for you.

If the Blackberry is issued from ATT and has a sim card slot, then yes the ATT sim card will operate on the Blackberry.
