I need to change a sim card in my Nextel phone.

Turn it off, remove the battery. Then you should see the sim card. It will either slide out or you push it and it pops out. Replace with new one.

Remove the battery cover if it has one, then you will have to remove the battery. Then slide the SIM card out of its jacket and slide the new one in. That's all.

First remove battery. This will allow the sim card to be accessable. Remove the sim card. You will need to replace the sim card to use the phone
