Can you tell me how to hatch a chicken egg?

If the egg is actually fertilized, it must be kept at a constant warm temperature. You must either have a hen sit on the eggs, or buy an incubator.

so long as the egg hasnt lost body temperature a sun-lamp will help keep the egg warm, but dont put it too close otherwise it will be cooked

You will need a special egg incubator to hatch the egg. Chickens very seldom sit and hatch an egg they didn't lay.

You will need to get an egg that has been fertilized by a rooster (you cannot take one out of the carton in the fridge) and has not been cooled at any time. Place the egg is a false next of rags under a heated lamp. Keep it warm and it will hatch.
